A brief guide designed to give visitors some idea of what to expect at our meetings
Our meetings take place between 7:00am and 8:30am every alternate Thursday.
The venue has a large car park so there will be no need to park elsewhere.
Once you have entered the main entrance of the venue you should bear left and enter the Cafe′ / Bar.
Once you have found a seat you should make your way to the breakfast station where you can help yourself to a full-English breakfast, fruit or cereal options along with a variety of drinks.
The formal part of the meeting should commence at around 7:20am. During the section of the meeting in which SCB members provide their business pitches, you will have the opportunity to briefly stand and introduce yourself and your business.
During the penultimate part of the meeting, if you have anything to contribute you may do so.
The meeting will conclude at around 8:30am. Following that a number of members may still be in the venue for additional networking.
If by that point you have enjoyed the meeting and perhaps feel that membership of the group could be beneficial for your business, upon request a membership application form will be provided to you.
Completed forms should be returned to any member of the committee for processing.
