General

Steel City Business is a not-for-profit networking group designed to provide help, advice and business leads for our members.

Visitors

Visitors are encouraged to visit the group and should reserve a place by contacting one of our members with a specific date in mind. A place will then be reserved for you and the venue will cater for your breakfast.

Members

Members are encouraged to attend all meetings or to send a representative should they be unable to attend on a specific date.

Membership fees

The membership fee currently stands at £225 per annum per member. This figure covers all administrative costs incurred by the group including, but not limited to, breakfast fees and banking fees. Membership fees are reviewed on an annual basis and we reserve the right to increase the aforementioned figure should the committee deem that to be necessary.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints or disputes should be directed to any member of the committee for investigation.

Code of conduct

Members should treat their colleagues with courtesy and respect and should act with honesty and integrity in all of their business dealings.

Should a member fail to pay their membership fees, after a period to be set by the committee, the decision shall be taken to rescind their membership with immediate effect. Such decisions can be challenged if there are extenuating circumstances.
